Frequently Asked Questions
-
During our visit, we’ll review your background, pertinent history, discuss what’s most important to you, and focus on personalized support. Depending on your needs, this may include observing a feeding, assessing latch and positioning, reviewing pumping, evaluating nutrition, or addressing specific challenges. Together, we’ll create a plan designed to support your health, your baby (if applicable), and your lifestyle.
-
Please have anything you typically use during feeding or daily routines available, such as bottles, pumps, supplements, or relevant supplies, along with a comfortable space for our conversation or feeding observation if applicable. You may also find it helpful to jot down questions or concerns beforehand. If something isn’t available or things don’t go exactly as planned, that’s completely okay — we’ll work with what you have.
-
You can schedule a consultation at any stage. Prenatal visits help you prepare before baby arrives and set breastfeeding up for success. Postpartum and feeding consultations are useful after you get home from the hospital or whenever questions or concerns arise. Nutrition consultations are available anytime you want guidance, support, or a personalized plan. Early support can prevent small challenges from becoming bigger ones, but it’s never too late to benefit from individualized care.
-
After your visit, you’ll receive a personalized care plan outlining recommendations, resources, and next steps based on your goals. I also provide follow-up support to answer questions, adjust your plan as needed, and help you feel confident implementing changes. Ongoing guidance ensures you’re supported not just during the visit, but as you move forward.
